Business Support Manager (Grade 5)
We are currently working with a well-established Public Sector organisation, who are in need of an experienced Business Support Manager to support them on an interim basis covering maternity until January 2022. Please see below for further information about the opportunity:

Role Overview:
To lead and manage a team within Business Support Services in achieving their objectives, ensuring effective relationships are built across key frontline and other support services, resulting in a business support team that is fit for purpose, response, efficient and of a consistently high standard. To take a lead role in one of the following 4 areas:
• Administration, to manage business support activity such as PA and support to operation teams
• Governance & Compliance to ensure advice and support for political governance, freedom of information and subject access requests
• Complaints and Service Improvement to ensure investigation and coordinating of Ombudsmen Enquiries complaints, FOI, EIR and other customer related matters
• Business Planning and Performance lead for all Directorates
Duration: Maternity Cover until January 2022
Start: ASAP
Location: Birmingham (Mixture of Home Working and Office Based Working)
Hours: Full-Time working hours 37.5 – Monday-Friday (Please note in a few months’ time you will be expected to work 1-2 days per week in the office)
Pay: £18.78 per hour PAYE Inclusive of Holiday (Salary equivalent: £35,745)
