Childcare Lawyer – South East England – 2 Year FTC – Remote Working – £42,821 - £49,860 D.O.E
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with an established Local Authority in the South East England area who are recruiting for a Childcare Lawyer to join their department on a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract.
Our client will consider both full-time and part time candidates and will consider candidates who would be interested in a job share arrangement. This role will be a 2 Year Fixed Term Contract and can be worked on a predominantly remote working basis.
This opportunity is suitable for an experienced Solicitor, Barrister or Legal Executive with professional experience gained within Local Government and Childcare Law. However, our client are happy to consider candidates who are from a Private Practice background or someone who would like to make the transition into Childcare Law.
Duties may include:

Representing the council on Public Law Children Act matters

Managing a busy and varied caseload of Childcare cases to include all pre-proceedings

Advising at LPM and PLO meetings

Performing own advocacy to include contested and final hearings

Advising client departments on complex issues concerning Childcare law
An salary of up £42,821 - £49,860 D.O.E is offered for this position.
