Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 DOE

Overview:
My team and I currently working with a leading esteemed provider of healthcare with a unique position. As a Clinical Coding Trainer, you'll be at the heart of our mission to provide top-quality patient care.
In this role, you will collaborate with the Clinical Coding Training Manager, contributing to the development and delivery of comprehensive training programs for the coding teams. The orginisation have recently undergone a restructuring, presenting an exciting opportunity to shape the future of tservices with innovative ideas and collaboration between trusts.
Main Duties of the Job:

Support the Clinical Coding Training Manager in delivering effective and comprehensive clinical coding training programs.

Manage Trainee Clinical Coders, identifying and addressing training needs to maximize data quality and competency.

Contribute to the creation and review of SOPs and training plans, ensuring a consistent and high standard of coding practices.

Improve the quality of coded data through awareness sessions, leveraging your knowledge of HRG tariffs and Mortality indices.
Essential skills:
- Coding Experience
- RHIT certification
- Health Information Management education or credentials
- Expertise in Medical Coding language and conventions
- Experience in designing and delivering training or possess a training qualification
- Excellent presentation, facilitation, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Health Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field
