Clinical Governance Facilitator
Venn Group are currently working with several NHS organisations in London who are looking for a Clinical Governance Facilitator’s to join their teams.
The Clinical Governance Facilitator will be responsible for:
- Co-ordinating the collation and analysis of CQC key performance indicator data on a monthly basis including: unplanned returns to theatre, unplanned readmissions, unplanned transfers out and mortality figures
- Managing the governance process following a patient death to assist in the mortality review process at Medical Governance, MAC and Mortality and Morbidity meetings
- Supporting the process of incident investigation within the Governance Department and specifically in relation to incidents involving medical practitioners, including the gathering of statements and production of timelines to assist in the investigation and internal review process
- Assisting with obtaining and presentation of national audit data collected by the hospital, ie NCEPOD, ICNARC and their presentation to Governance committees and MAC
It is essential Clinical Governance Facilitator must have the following skills and experience:
- Previous clinical governance related experience and/or clinical qualifications
- To maintain a high standard of practice in accordance with company and department policy and procedure, with particular regard to health & safety and information governance requirements
- To maintain confidentiality at all times with a high regard for the sensitive nature of much of the department’s work
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Highly IT literate – Word, Excel and PowerPoint
