Compliance Manager wanted for an immediate start
Location: Hertfordshire
Length: 6 months Temporary - Ongoing
Hours: 37.5, Monday – Friday
Main responsibilities of the role
- Arranging the undertaking of 6 Facet Surveys and building condition inspections, acting on information to develop a rolling plan of essential maintenance tasks
- Ensuring Estates asset registers are maintained and PPM schedules are developed to ensure maintenance is undertaken in accordance with HTM, statutory and regulatory required frequencies
- Act as, where appropriate, Deputy Responsible Person (DRP) or Authorised Person (AP) for Legionella, Low Voltage Electrical Systems, Lifts, Fire, Asbestos Management, Estates Health & Safety and Medical Gas Pipeline Systems
- Ensuring Permit to Work systems are in place so that all work is completed safely
- Developing a contractor’s induction and sign off procedure to highlight any known risks and ensure site rules are complied with
- Reviewing risk assessments and method statements prior to authorising the start of any project or backlog maintenance works
Essential requirements:
- Educated to degree level or hold a NEBOSH certificate
- Experience of implementing policies and procedures
- A DBS Check will be required for this role
