Contracts and Employment Lawyer – 5 months initially – Full Time – Local Authority
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a busy Local Authority, who are known for their excellent team culture, who are recruiting for a Contracts and Employment Lawyer to join their department.
This is a full-time assignment (36 hours per week). The client is willing to consider candidates wishing to work 4 days per week too. The successful applicant will be able to work on a remote basis.
Responsibilities:
- To draft documents and prepare pleadings for courts and tribunals.
- To be responsible for the preparation of cases to Courts, Tribunals etc.
Requirements:
- Qualified Lawyer
- Knowledge of the law in relation to the employment advice and policy and employment law in relation contracts and procurement.
- The ideal applicant will have recent experience working in a Local Authority.
