Locum Housing Disrepair Paralegal – 3 months + – Full Time – Predominantly Remote Working – Up to £25 per hour – Midlands

Position: Locum Housing Disrepair Paralegal

Organisation: Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3 monthswith the possibility of extension thereafter

Working Pattern: Full Time

Working Arrangement: Predominantly remote working, any office attendance would be advantageous to an application

Hourly Rate: Up to £25 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have had prior experience in handling Housing Litigation matters and can demonstrate prior experience working on behalf of Local Authorities, which focus on Housing Disrepair matters.

Duties may include:

• Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Housing Litigation including reviews of Housing Committee reports, leases and rentals, possession claims and Housing Disrepair
• Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives
• To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to Housing Management and support case preparation for Court
