Venn Group are currently recruiting multiple positions within Credit Advisory and Credit Portfolio Management within Project Finance and Distressed Debt for firms based in London.
Project and Structured Finance Credit Advisory Analyst/AVP
Daily duties include:
- Support the advisory team in pitching and executing advisory mandates - preparing externally facing marketing materials in line with the guidelines and seeking compliance approval.
- Substantial customer facing element to the role attending call and meetings (along with more senior colleagues)
- As appropriate, financial modelling and analysis for projects in support of transaction leads
- Understanding internal procedures and processes and applying them correctly.
- Supporting other staff with specialist knowledge and providing some training in specific areas of knowledge or systems where appropriate
- To assist the team head in preparing activity reports and other administrative tasks for the team
- Assist on compliance aspects relevant to advisory including KYC/KYB process and update updating the team Advisory Manual
- Knowledge of project finance and/or M&A activities required
- Experience of working in a large financial institution or other relevant role in industry, advisor or finance
- Strong numerical and financial skills essential
- Financial modelling and European languages are desirable
- Sector experience within Oil, Gas, Natural Resource, Power and Infrastructure would be advantageous
Distressed Debt Credit Portfolio Management Support – Transportation
Daily Duties include:
- Responsible for day to day management of a portfolio of distressed senior secured loans
- Carry out analysis of financial information, the timely submission of Credit Monitoring reviews
- Conduct KYC reviews, as well as the analysis and submission of Waiver request
- Liaison with both internal and external stakeholders
- Help design and implement value preservation strategies for the portfolio
- Developing ad-hoc financial models and projections to test various restructuring/warehousing/enforcement/secondary sales scenarios
- Review existing and new legal documentation and attendance at client meetings
- Essential to have strong numerical and financial skills with the ability to analyse and interpret companies’ financial accounts
- Create and interpret financial models to establish corporate and cash flow projections
- Good written and verbal communication skills are essential
- Highly advantageous to have experience and knowledge of restructuring, bankruptcy proceedings within Aviation and Shipping sector
