Venn Group has been engaged by a leading property maintenance business to recruit a Customer Care Manager based in North Wales. This permanent role is ideal for someone with a strong background in property maintenance and trades, particularly joinery, who thrives in a hands-on, problem-solving environment.

You will be responsible for managing day-to-day maintenance across a diverse property portfolio, ensuring all buildings are maintained to a high standard and comply with relevant regulations. The role involves coordinating contractors, undertaking minor refurbishments, and working closely with multiple teams to support business objectives with a main focus on customer care.

Location: North Wales (travel across various sites required)
Salary: £35, 000 - £40,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Work Pattern: Full-time

The duties will include:

• Responding to planned and reactive maintenance across properties

• Conducting regular property inspections and identifying necessary works

• Managing maintenance budgets and ensuring cost-effective service delivery

• Supervising external contractors and tradespeople where appropriate

• Maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations and building codes

• Carrying out minor refurbishments, fit-outs, and construction tasks

• Coordinating emergency and urgent repairs promptly

• Maintaining detailed records of maintenance schedules and asset lifecycles using House Builder Pro

• Collaborating with construction, commercial, and customer care teams to achieve business goals

• Developing and implementing preventive maintenance programmes

Essential Skills/Qualifications:

• Proven experience in property maintenance or a related construction/trades role, joinery background preferred

• Broad trade knowledge including joinery, decorating, plumbing, electrical (including PAT testing)

• Relevant qualifications such as NVQ, City & Guilds, HNC in building maintenance, construction or engineering

• Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills

• Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and property compliance

• Full UK driving licence with willingness to travel across North Wales

Desirable:

• Experience within property development or general property maintenance companies

• Familiarity with building management systems such as House Builder Pro
