Temporary Customer Service Advisor (Housing Experience Essential) – Urgently Required
Our client, a renowned Housing Association is seeking an experienced customer service advisor to join their customer service team. This role will require previous experience working within a housing association or housing organisation.
Position: Customer Service Advisor
Period: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Hours: 35 hours, Mon-Fri
Location: South West London (Working remotely during lockdown)
Rate: £11-£13 per hour
IR35 status: Inside
Responsibilities:

Providing excellent customer service to social housing tenants via the telephone

Ensuring residents receive high levels of customer service and satisfaction in every interaction

Using internal systems to raise repairs and carrying out inspections in person, by email and over the phone

Make sure repairs are logged and carried out as agreed

Deal with queries relating to tenancy matters, rent issues and complaints

Manage customer records and ensure customer requests are recorded, prioritised and ordered correctly

Deal with a number of internal stakeholders such as Community Services, HR, Finance, Housing, IT, Directors and Board Members

To provide administrative support by, taking notes and maintaining spreadsheets
Desired experience:

Excellent communication, customer service and problem-solving skills

A thorough understanding of housing legislation such as homelessness, allocations, landlord and tenant legislation

Previous experience in a contact centre environment
