Venn Group are currently working alongside a leading Telecommunications Service provider to recruit for a Data Analyst to join their exciting new project.

Location: Remote (Occasional travel to Reading, Slough or Hammersmith)

Duration: 12 weeks

Rate: £368.56 - £475 inside IR35

Job Responsibilities:

• Production of analysis and insight for the wider Network Strategy & Engineering team, identifying trends and patterns in metrics to deepen understanding of delivery performance and enable targeted improvement projects to be initiated to resolve issues
• Production of a range of reports for Network Strategy & Engineering covering metrics key to efficient planning and managing of all aspects of demand & delivery data
• Consolidation and automation of existing reports and new requests for reports to minimise manual effort and make optimal use of available data sources
• Ensure availability of high-quality data, taking responsibility for identifying and resolving inconsistencies as they arise

Essential Skills:

• Experience working within a large company and the ability to pull large amounts of data
• Ability to program with confidence in at least one of the following languages: R, Python, VBA, PowerAutomate
• Experience with a dashboarding or visualisation tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, or R Shiny
• Understanding of DOCSIS, IP & Optical networks
• Experienced in performing a data analyst role for a large organisation, including communicating the results of analysis to a wide range of stakeholders
