Venn Group is working with a Local Authority to recruit a Delivery Manager, on a contract basis.
The Delivery Manager will work in a multidisciplinary programme team to deliver resident-facing software solutions.
This role is inside of IR35, for an initial 3-months.Hybrid working will be required, with attendance to the offices in London several times a week.
Responsibilities:
- Mobilise the delivery team, guide deployment approaches and coordinate development
- Provide guidance on feasibility analysis: technical capabilities, resourcing, skills, and prioritisation
- Work with Product Manager to develop the scope, budget and delivery model
- Align to product roadmap, develop and socialise delivery roadmap
- Assess and troubleshoot delivery barriers
- Lead the delivery of backlogs of work
- Plan for releasable value cycles and milestones
- Drive coordination and building positive relationships with teams across the business
- Act as primary contact for project enquiries, risks, issues and concerns and governance reporting
- Manage external technology and delivery suppliers
Key Skills Required:
- Practical experience of agile delivery principles, practices and methods
- Understanding of user-centred design and service design
- Knowledge of the DDAT framework
- Experience building delivery roadmaps and plans
- Experience leading large, complex delivery teams in an agile environment
- Experience of budget management
- Experience building influential relationships with internal and external users, suppliers and partners at senior management level
