Deputy contracts/Operations Manager required
Rate: £175-£200 Umbrella
Length: 6 months temporary fixed to Permenant
Location: Herefordshire
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a deputy contracts/operations manager to support the Building Maintenance and Cleaning Manager to manage building inspections and works.
Please find below a brief synopsis of their skills and achievements:
- Interpret and enhance brief with client and supplier/sub-contractor negotiation
- Interpret and Obtain and develop quotes
- Assist with the development of work packages and drive work forward
- Manage internal and external resource to accomplish job completion
- Deputise to the Head of Building Operations, Building, Maintenance and Cleaning
The successful candidate will be/have:
- Has knowledge of, and experience in, Building Maintenance, ideally (but not essential) in a public sector setting
- Is experienced with managing subcontractors
- An energetic self starter
- Well organised
- Can build excellent professional relationships
- A good communicator with clients, subcontractors and internal operatives
- Can confidently pick up the phone to discuss and resolve issues
- Has excellent IT skills especially with Excel
