Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Derivative Operations Trade Support Analyst on behalf of a global bank based in London. The role sits within the Operations Department and its purpose is to support the processing of derivatives, bonds and related money products for various entities and branches.
The ideal candidate must have a Financial Services background, with direct experience working in an Operations processing department. The successful candidate will be required to perform timely trade processing for a broad and complex suite of regulatory obligations and derivative products and derivative transactions. Additionally, they will be responsible for checking the validity of trades and administer rate fixings for all floating rate deals, average strike options and non-deliverable forwards.
Additional duties will also input EMIR Initial Margin deals, affirm Swap confirmations via Markitwire and report derivative activity to the Trade and Transaction reporting team.
The role will require the candidate to have in-depth knowledge of EMIR, IBOR discontinuation and pertinent regulations applicable to derivatives market. A strong working knowledge of Excel is desirable.
The candidate must have strong communication and stakeholder management skills in addition to a strong operational background with good product knowledge across Derivatives. Interfacing with Treasury, Execution Distribution & Limit Control Middle Office, Loans Admin and Front Office teams.
Expertise knowledge of Derivative and Securities underlying documentation, including an awareness of Regulatory Reporting requirement, is highly advantageous for this position.
