Director of Operations (Childcare) Vacancy Available
Location: Dublin
Hours: Full time
Salary: €100,000
Venn Group are currently working with an organisation based in Dublin who are seeking a Director of Operations on a permanent basis. This organisation provides childcare services to preschool and primary-aged children across Ireland and they are looking to bring in a highly experienced candidate who can support them with their plans to scale their business.
Main duties of the job:
- Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve the company's short-term and long-term goals.
- Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and reduce costs without compromising quality.
- Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Manage people, financial, and material resources effectively to support operational objectives and maximise productivity.
- Collaborate with other departments, including HR, Finance, Business Development and IT, to ensure seamless coordination and alignment of operational activities.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure operational performance and track progress towards goals. Analyse data and metrics to identify areas for improvement and take corrective actions as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Identify and mitigate operational risks to protect the organisation's assets and reputation.
- Evaluate and manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers to ensure quality, cost-effective solutions that meet the organisation's needs.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement, innovation, and best practices adoption across the organisation.
- Communicate operational strategies, objectives, and performance metrics effectively to senior management, stakeholders, and the operations team.
The successful candidate must have:
- Proven experience (5 years) in a senior management role overseeing operations in the childcare industry
