We are currently working with a local authority who are in need of six EHC Inclusion Officers to join their Social Care and Education department for the next 3 months initially. Please see below for further information about the roles:
The purpose of the role will be to coordinate and manage the administration of statutory assessment procedures for children with special educational needs and disabilities under relevant government legislation.
Key Requirements:
- Good knowledge of the SEND Code of Practice required - May suit candidates with an educational background or with previous experience of working with EHC plans
- Ideally able to access / use own ICT equipment
- Good ICT skills required
- Good negotiation skills
- Ability to discuss challenging situations with parents/ carers and schools in a calm, professional manner
- Able to work to tight deadlines and manage conflicting responsibilities
