We are currently supporting a rapidly growing organisation based in the Castleford area, in their search for an entry level Finance Assistant on a permanent basis.
This role is fully office based and the hours are 9:00-17:30 Monday to Friday, there is also parking on site.
It is an entry level position, a great start for someone looking to kick start their career in finance.
Key Responsibilities of the role include –
• Responsible for daily monitoring of debtor balances, chasing debtors on a daily basis to ensure that debts are collected within
• Responsible for credit control tasks for the company sales ledger, monitoring payments received and escalating slow receipts to the Accounts Controller as needed
• Raising miscellaneous sales invoices
• Assisting the Operations team with administration tasks
• Processing vendor invoices accurately, and being responsible for setting up payment runs for vendors
• Purchase ledger cover as needed to support the Purchase Ledger Clerk
• Finance administration for new operational ventures that the business is currently pursuing
• Ad hoc tasks as needed
