Finance Manager
An exciting position has arisen for a Finance Manager to work for a small international Christian Faith based Charity based in Essex. The post holder will support the FD in running the entire finance function and will be overseeing a small team of two staff.
Key responsibilities:
- Supporting the FD through the quarterly and annual budgeting process
- Monitoring budgets on a monthly basis through variance analysis
- Preparing monthly budget holder reports
- Carrying out balance sheet reconciliations
- Created restricted funds reports
- Completing cash flow statements
- Supporting the FD in the production of statutory accounts
- Attending audit meetings and dealing with external audit
- Responsible for processing VAT returns
- Supervise the day to day activities of finance staff
- Overseeing Accounts Payable and Receivable functions
- Monthly checking of transactions on Sage
Successful candidate profile:
- Part qualified or Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA)
- Experience of producing financial and management accounts for a small Charity
- Staff management experience
- Views must be aligned with the mission of the Charity
- Proficient on all Microsoft office packages including Intermediate Excel
