A reputable London based University are recruiting a Finance Manager to join their Finance department on a 12 month fixed term contract. The post holder will provide financial and project accounting support to the Operations and Projects section of the Finance department.
Your duties will include:

Prepare and maintain the Fixed asset register for the University

Provide depreciation forecasts to be fed into budgets, forecasts and five-year plans

Reconcile ledger accounts within the remit and provide a review for management

Provide period and year-end prepayment and accruals schedules reconciled to the balance sheet account

Business partner with other within finance including Payroll, Research, financial planning and Procurement
-
Ensure the coding of transactions required for statutory financial reporting is updated regularly which will assist in efficient completion of statutory reports

Provide support to the tax and reporting associate on work relating to annual accounts preparation and financial returns for OFS, HESA

Lead a team and manage the staff development
Essential job criteria:

Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)

Have experience working in a large complex organisation (Higher Education is highly desirable)

Proven financial accounting experience
