Interim Financial Support Officer
Our client, a well-respected public sector body in Somerset, is looking for a Financial Support Officer to come on board on a temporary basis for a 2 month contract. The Officer will work with the CHC Payments Team, CHC Data Analysts and CHC Digitalisation Project Manager in the implementation of new payment processes
Location: Somerset (Fully Remote)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Monday-Friday)
Length of Contract: 2 Months +
Hourly Rate: £14.37 - £17.64 via Umbrella

Day to Day Duties:
- Responsible for the communication and correspondence to support the validation of currently recorded information and capturing the financial data necessary for audit purposes
- Liaise with CHC colleagues and representatives of partnership organisations
- Work under direction from the CHC Data Analysts in the processing of data reports to support the new payment processes
- To input validated data onto the CHC Caretrack platform that will support the new payments processes
- To promote excellent customer care throughout the data validation process where communication with partnership organisations will be integral to the accuracy of financial payments. This may include local resolution of any concerns, including highly complex sensitive or contentious telephone calls or queries
- Manage system alterations on Caretrack necessary for the new payments process
- Ensure data sets and new payment processes are system ready on Caretrack to support the monthly payment run
- Supporting the production of associated working papers for audit purposes
- Reporting any data discrepancies and queries in a timely and effective manner interpreting the financial impact these have
Essential Skills:
- Advanced MS Office skills (Excel & Word)
- AAT Qualified
