Fire Safety Advisor
Location: South East England
Salary Band: £47,810
Contract Type: Full-time, Permanent
Working Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm (flexible)
Are you passionate about fire safety and compliance? A leading NHS Trust is seeking a skilled Fire Safety Advisor to lead strategic fire safety initiatives across a diverse healthcare estate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement fire safety strategies, policies, and procedures.
- Conduct fire risk assessments and audits across Trust premises.
- Deliver statutory and specialist fire safety training.
- Lead fire safety compliance reporting and KPI tracking.
- Liaise with external bodies including Fire Authorities and Building Safety Regulators.
- Support emergency preparedness and incident response planning.
- Act as technical lead and Appointed Person (Fire), issuing permits and overseeing fire-related works.
What You’ll Need:
- Level 4 qualification in Fire Safety (or equivalent).
- Experience in fire safety within healthcare or similar environments.
- Strong knowledge of fire safety legislation (e.g., Regulatory Reform Order 2005, HTM05).
- Membership of IFSM or IFE desirable.
- Proven ability to deliver training and lead compliance initiatives.
