Rent and Service Charge Manager
Based in Tunbridge Wells, hybrid – 1 day on site
Contract – 7 months
£250-£300 per day
We are seeking an excellent Rent and Service Charge Manager for a leading Housing Association. You will be responsible for the preparation of all service charge costs and statements, across all tenures. You will ensure service charges are compliant, manage the rent increase processes, and the tendering and allocation of utility serviceable accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
- The Rent and Service Charge Manager will prepare and set annual service charge budgets, and reconciling year-end accounts
- Work with the finance team to obtain cost data and model this for use in reports
- Manage the rent review process and ensure that annual rent notifications include a comprehensive breakdown of service charges
- The Rent and Service Charge Manager will lead the tendering and procurement process for utility contracts, covering general estate and sheltered housing
- Liaise with Housing Services, Property Services, Development, and TCH Living on all matters related to service charges, providing advice and guidance
- Respond to customer enquiries regarding the calculation of their service charges and other related issues
- The Rent and Service Charge Manager will stay informed about changes in service charge legislation and best practices from organizations
