Locum Paralegal

Locum Paralegal (SC Cleared) – Public Sector – South West – Full Time – up to £25 per hour Umbrella

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Paralegal to join a Public Sector Organisation in the South West on an interim basis, to start as soon as possible.

The ideal candidate would be a Paralegal or Legal Assistant with previous Public Sector experience and an active SC (Security Check) Clearance. You will be handling a mixed general caseload.

Duties may include the following:

-        Provide a competent and well trusted legal support function

-        Work closely with Solicitors to progress a complex caseload

-        Manage and support all aspects of case preparation and management ensuring strict adherence to legal deadlines

-        Organise large volumes of material, identify missing documents, prioritise tasks and effectively communicate and share intelligence gathered with interested parties

-        Arrange and attend case conferences, Court and Tribunals

-        Conduct legal research

An hourly rate of up to £25 via umbrella is offered for this position, with attendance required for case conferences, Court hearings and Tribunals.
