Floating Support Worker

Hourly Rate: £18.40 per hour (Umbrella)

Duration: 3 months – January 2026 to March 2026

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday - Friday

Milton Keynes service working to support everyone in the communities to find safe, stable housing and live as independently as possible.

Daily duties:

Implement pathways to independent living and sustained tenancies through the provision of accommodation-based housing support
Deliver short-term supported housing solutions for vulnerable single individuals aged 18+ who are experiencing homelessness
Support clients in securing long-term or permanent housing and in developing effective tenancy management skills
Prevent homelessness and address the underlying factors contributing to housing instability, poor health, and reduced well-being
Collaborate with the council, local partners, and the voluntary and community sector to promote independence and identify opportunities for support
Facilitate referrals to Mental Health and Substance Misuse Services where appropriate
Enhance clients’ quality of life by supporting income growth, improving budgeting skills, and assisting with benefit applications

The successful candidate should have:

- Enhanced Adult DBS

- Full UK Driving License
