FX Trade Support (AVP)

Purpose of the Role
Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of foreign exchange (FX) transactions within a derivatives operations environment. The role ensures smooth trade lifecycle management, from trade capture through settlement, while maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls.
Key Responsibilities
- Process FX transactions from front-office trade capture systems through to accounting and payment systems.
- Manage confirmation and affirmation processes for FX trades.
- Monitor and reconcile payment flows, ensuring timely settlement and resolution of discrepancies.
- Maintain and update operational procedures and checklists.
- Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for system upgrades and process changes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet processing deadlines and enhance service quality.
- Escalate issues promptly and follow through to resolution.
Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of FX settlements and trade lifecycle.
- Knowledge of confirmation matching processes and market standards.
- Familiarity with CLS settlements and SWIFT payment formatting (MX/MT standards).
- Awareness of industry documentation (e.g., ISDA) and regulatory reporting requirements.
- Proficiency in reconciliation and exception management.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing regulatory environments and prioritize effectively.
Qualifications
- 5+ Previous experience in FX operations or derivatives processing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good working knowledge of operational systems and Microsoft Excel.
