Senior Financial Accountant
Up to £57,575, Birmingham, Hybrid, 12 month FTC

The finance team works closely with colleagues across legal, procurement, project delivery and senior leadership. The role
• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts for the organisation and its group
• Deliver accurate monthly reporting and key balance sheet reviews
• Complete Whole of Government Accounts submissions
• Provide trusted technical accounting advice to colleagues across the organisation
• Support the control environment and contribute to process improvements
• Work closely with auditors and senior internal stakeholders
• Support capital, grant and financial accounting activity across multiple streams
Essential Experience
• Strong background in financial accounting and statutory reporting
• Confident with data manipulation and advanced Excel
• Able to work with a holistic view across grants, capital, revenue and group areas
• Comfortable providing technical advice to a wide range of stakeholders
• CCAB qualified
