We are currently recruiting for the position of General Accounts Clerk on behalf of one of our clients in Buxton. The company is a well known haulage distribution firm. The position is initially on a three month temporary contract, working from 09:00-17:00 Monday to Friday. Following this probationary period, the view is to take on the successful candidate on a full-time basis at a negotiable rate.
Day-to-day duties include:
- Bank transactions
- Preparing invoices
- Chasing debt
- Payroll administration
- Customer queries
- Some general PA/Admin duties
The successful candidate must be able to travel to Buxton with relative ease, given the limited public transport in this region. Desirable personal characteristics include being conscientious and having a strong work ethic.
