Governance, Risk & Control (GRC) Analyst – Banking – Contract
Venn Group are currently recruiting for a GRC Analyst to work within a global bank in London. This position sits at AVP level within the bank’s internal departmental structure.
The purpose of the role is to assist the Governance, Risk, and Compliance team in implementing multiple Cyber Risk and Resilience programmes, creating a more stringently monitored and sophisticated framework for the bank and its entities.
Clear and concise communication is required in this position as the candidate will be required to represent certain departments at Committee Meetings, regularly update senior stakeholders, and likewise work within a diverse group of internal teams. Candidates must have excellent communication skills in both written and verbal mediums.
Candidates must have experience working within IT environments in Financial Services institutions. The projects involved in this role will relate directly to Cyber Security and Risk, and therefore require technically-minded candidates who can hit the ground running and meet expectations relating to Cyber Resilience.
It is also essential that candidates demonstrate understanding of Risk Management methodologies, such as control mapping, tracking, and checking against tolerances.
Regulatory exposure in previous roles will be highly advantageous as this position requires direct and regular liaison with various regulatory bodies, such as the FCA and PRA. Experience of European Regulations will also be advantageous since this project spans multiple jurisdictions.
Applicants should be able to demonstrate how they have contributed to Technology and Cyber Frameworks and evidence of their understanding of Regulatory Technology Frameworks.
