Venn Group is currently working with an NHS Trust to recruit a Head of Digital Training to lead the establishment and co-ordination of structured training initiatives to facilitate the successful implementation of the EHR deployment of a single instance of Cerner and be instrumental in delivering one of the largest single transformational projects delivered within the Trust.

Rate: £315.06 per day umbrella

Location: Essex – Hybrid 

Duration: ASAP start – Until October 2024 (likely to extend)

Working hours: Monday – Friday (37.5 hours)

Job Responsibilities:

• To be accountable for the Programme Training Strategy, ensuring that all training deliverables meet the current and emerging requirements of the programme
• Responsible for delivery and management of training within a digital health care environment to support the provision of training to the highest standards of safe, quality care and services to meet the requirements of the programme objectives
• Proactively identify and manage risks and issues, with consideration of impact on the programme
• Ensuring alignment of training requirements with Trust standard policies and guidelines
• To identify where content in existing Trust learning interventions aligns and supports the learning needs required to implement EHR Programme.
• Initiate, influence and maintain effective relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders, to proactively manage needs, expectations, mitigate risks and support change
• Ensuring the delivery of training to the agreed standards and thresholds
• To provide effective line management for the Programme Training team

The ideal candidate:

• Significant experience working in a digital health education and training environment
• Experience using a Learning Management System and developing a structured training strategy
• NHS/Healthcare experience
