Venn Group is currently recruiting for a Head of HR for a Public Sector Organisation based in the East Midlands. This role is a permanent position paying up to £41k per anum
The role is onsite full time with the potential requirement to travel to other sites.
Duties:
- To support the Vice Principal Business Development in the development and implementation of the Group’s Human Resources Strategy
- Undertake appropriate training & staff development as required and keep up to date with employment legislation

- Analyse and identify trends and proactively address issues of high turnover, sickness or performance management within the Group, to maximise the use of HR information and ensure that metrics/KPIs are routinely monitored, reported and evaluated, providing information for managers as appropriate to aid business and resource planning
- Prepare reports and management information and circulate as required, including staff lists, new starters, leavers etc
- Network and build relationships other HR Advisors to facilitate knowledge transfer and continuous development
- Provide appropriate levels of advice and support to managers and individual members of staff on a wide range of employee relations issues including: giving advice and guidance on employment law and the risks associated with following different courses of action; recommending options; and coaching managers
