Interim Head of repairs
Location: London, hybrid 2 days on site
Length: 3 months (Possibility of extension)
Inside: IR35
The interim Head of Repairs is responsible for the leadership and management of repairs teams including planning and administration, DLO, customer feedback team, surveyors and contract management.
Key Responsibilities of the Interim Head of Repairs:
- Deliver a high quality repairs services to the residents of council buildings
- Ensure that a positive Health and Safety culture exists and all relevant legislation especially the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974
- Strong experience of contract management, holding external contractors to account for performance and VFM
- Extensive experience of developing robust reporting and data frameworks and using trade software packages to ensure effective repair services
- Responsible for 130 staff, 20,000 stock units
- £6m staffing budget, £4m capital budget, £10m revenue budget,
- Relevant professional qualification, and membership of a professional body, or equivalent work experience
