We are currently looking for an Interim Housing Compliance and Planned Works Service Manager for a Council’s Property and Asset team.
Housing Compliance and Planned Works Service Manager
Duration: 4 – 6 Months Initially with extensions likely
Rate: Negotiable D.O.E (Inside IR35)
Working Arrangement: 3 days Onsite in Devon
N.B: Expenses Milage Covered
Purpose:
- Support team Managers in achieving the priorities and objectives of the Council, and implementing the Housing Strategy, Housing Revenue Account Business Plan and Service Plan
Responsibilities
- Manage an integrated asset management strategy
- Plan and undertake programmed works, cyclical maintenance, improvements and adaptations
- Manage all aspects of building compliance
- Maintain house condition data and ensuring Decent Homes compliance
- Maintain the Council’s housing assets in good condition
- Stock condition and property maintenance/improvement
- Carbon management and affordable warmth
- New buildings, extensions/loft conversions and disabled adaptations
The candidate will need to have experience in:
- Strong Compliance Background
- The Big 6: Gas safety, Asbestos, legionella, fire safety, construction site safety, and health and safety
- Asset Management and Planned Works
- Effective People Manager - (Directly managing 2; responsible for Managing a team approx. 8 people)
- Previous Project Management Experience is helpful
