Interim Housing Inclusion Services Manager (Homelessness Experienced Essential) – Urgently Required
Our client, a renowned local authority is seeking a passionate Housing Inclusion Service Manager to lead their Housing Options team. This role will require previous managerial experience working in housing services.
Position: Housing Inclusion Services Manager
Period: 3 months (with possibility of extension)
Hours: 35 hours, Mon-Fri
Location: London
Rate: £275 -£325 per day
IR35 status: Inside
Responsibilities:

To be responsible for the overall management of the Housing Inclusion Service to ensure that staff act in accordance with legislation, policy

Manage a high quality customer focused housing service and achieving improvement in service delivery

To take the lead in developing and implementing strategies, policies and service developments in relation to homelessness and vulnerable people in housing need

To be responsible for the supervision of all staff within the Housing Inclusion Service and for their recruitment, deployment, training and development

To give specialist advice, guidance and training to the Housing Service staff and other groups on matters relating to the post holder’s area of expertise
Desired experience:

A comprehensive knowledge and understanding of housing and homelessness policy and legislation, and proven ability to advise and support managers

Previous managerial experience within a housing services setting and developing staff

Experience and proven ability in managing successful housing and homelessness projects
