Housing Litigation Lawyer – South-East – Competitive Hourly Rate (DOE) – Hybrid Working – 1 day Office attendance per fortnight
Position: Housing Litigation Lawyer
Organisation: London based Local Authority
Duration: Initial 3 month contract with ability to extend.
Working Pattern: Full time
Working Arrangement: Remote working with 1 day Office attendance per fortnight
Hourly Rate: Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
Venn Group’s legal team are in partnership with a Local Authority in the South-East in their search for a Locum Housing Lawyer.
The ideal candidate for this role will be either a Qualified Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx who has a proven track record of successfully managing their own case load of Housing Litigation matters within local government.
Duties shall include:
- To handle a caseload of housing litigation matters
- To provide legal advice on all aspects of housing law, including prosecutions and disrepair claims
- To negotiate, draft and agree legal documentation
- To have knowledge around the pre-action protocols in possession claims, succession claims and non-occupation/subletting
