Venn Group have been approached by a Housing Trust and would like to introduce the following position available
Position: Housing Officer
Location: Homeworking with essential visits only to Northwich
Rate: £17.00 Umbrella rate (inc hol pay) plus mileage
Length: End of June
Hours: 35 hours p/week (M-F) flexible start & finish times
The role will predominantly involve:
- Working with customers, colleagues and partner agencies to ensure tenants comply with their tenancy conditions
- Promoting positive relations between customers living in the neighbourhoods
- Receiving and responding to reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB) and other breaches of tenancy conditions, other than rent arrears, within a designated patch
- Receiving and responding to reports of ASB, unacceptable property condition, untidy gardens, abandonment, tenancy fraud, unauthorised occupation and other tenancy breaches
- Encouraging self-reliance amongst customers by promoting positive solutions to neighbour disputes, such as restorative justice, mediation and other informal interventions
- Providing help and support to complainants, victims and witnesses in cases of ASB
- Visiting new tenants after move-in and monitor the conduct of Starter Tenancies
- Assisting customers in obtaining support and assistance in sustaining their tenancies
- Making use of formal interventions such as home visits, formal warnings, Acceptable Behaviour Contracts
The successful candidate must have experience in working in an Enforcement, ASB, Community Safety and/ or Housing Management, must be available to start in the next week and be able to drive and have access to a car
