Housing Officer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a social housing provider in Hertfordshire. The client is looking to bring in a compassionate and hardworking Housing Officer on a 3 month temporary basis. The postholder will be responsible for delivering a range of services to tenants and leaseholders across the property stock.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week | Monday - Friday

Location: East Hertfordshire

Contract Type: 3 months temporary  

Hourly rate: £21 per hour (Umbrella)

Key duties:

• Build strong connections with customers and take a proactive approach across our estates, so you can truly get to know our communities
• Manage a number of patches and neighbourhoods
• Dealing with anti-social behaviours in our estates, responding to customer queries and complaints
• Leading the voids process including liaising with local authorities 
• Carry out estate inspections, engaging and meeting with contractors on site, as well as carrying out and recording the routine safety and compliance checks in our buildings and communities  

The successful candidate should have:

• Experience in the housing sector and understand housing management, housing law and in an ideal world, universal credit too!
• Drivers license and access to your own vehicle
