HR Advisor

Venn Group are delighted to once again be working with a highly-regarded healthcare organisation in the Buckinghamshire area, to source a personable and driven HR Advisor on an interim basis. This role is paying £17.80 per hour on a full-time, hybrid working basis.
Your duties will include:
- Providing professional advice and support to managers on matters relating to disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, bullying & harassment, performance management issues and liaise with Trade Union Representatives as necessary. This includes attending disciplinary meetings/hearings and advising on the process and outcome.
- Coaching and supporting staff and service managers in all aspects of Human Resources management, including the appropriate application of Trust policies and procedures, which may include investigation and resolution of specific HR related queries
- Providing timely, consistent and accurate advice and support for service managers during investigations and advising at disciplinary panel hearings
- Giving advice and interpretative guidance and support to managers and staff on all terms and conditions including Agenda for Change, employment law, contract queries, annual leave, flexible working etc. as well as the application of all HR policies in line with best practice
- Offering support to managers and staff in relation to organisational change including job design, redeployment, redundancy TUPE, etc.
- Providing professional HR support in the recruitment process as required e.g. sitting on recruitment panels for senior posts
The successful candidate should have:
- Experience handling an ER caseload
- Outstanding communications skills, both written and verbal
- Prior NHS or public sector experience is desirable, experience working in a unionised environment is essential
