People Partner

An NHS Organisation in Surrey are looking for a band 7 People Partner to join their team on a temp to perm basis. As a trusted, credible partner and with specialist expertise, the postholder will help drive the successful implementation of the People strategy, planning an agenda in your Business Unit through coaching, challenging and influencing senior stakeholders. You will use your operational and strategic knowledge of your Business Unit to provide feedback, lessons learnt and insight to the wider People Services teams to support the continuous improvement of their People plans, ways of working, future initiatives and policy framework.
Daily rate: £190 per day PAYE
Salary: £41,902 - £47,684 per annuum (inclusive of fringe HCA)
Location: Surrey
Your duties will include:
- Support the delivery of effective People Management practices, procedures and processes based on best practice and reduce the risk of litigation facing the Organisation
- Support the development of the Organisations workforce planning process and provide the right balance between operational guidance and strategic planning
- Undertake investigations in line with policies and procedures, participate in grievance and disciplinary panels and support the wider work of the People team in developing a positive employee relations culture
- Ensure managers at all levels have a thorough understanding of their role and responsibilities in relation to key workforce policies and processes and have the relevant skills to perform this role
- Strive to create a culture that gives people a voice ensuring they are empowered to support decision making, action and taking responsibility whilst overseeing risk
- Undertake organisational change projects and provide expert HR input to consultation and change management in line with organisational policy, procedures and employment legislation
The successful candidate MUST:
- Have extensive experience working at at least Senior Advisor / Associate HRBP level
- Have experience working within the NHS, or large complex public sector organisation
