Venn Group are delighted to be working with one of our esteemed clients in the healthcare sector who are looking to source a proactive, strategic and personable HRBP for the following assignment:
Location: Norfolk (hybrid working)
Contract: Twelve months
Rate: £21.66 per hour + holiday pay
Your duties will include:
- Advising and supporting managers and staff on the interpretation and application of the HR policies and procedures, terms & conditions of service and employment law. The advice given will reflect current legislation and best practice
- Providing advice and guidance on all organisational change directives
- Assisting and supporting managers through all stages of HR procedures, including participating in investigations, advising on HR procedures on panels at hearings and appeal hearings, advising Chairs of panels as appropriate
- Providing high level support in the management of poor performance, misconduct and sickness absence issues in accordance with the organisation’s procedures, and providing a focus on health and wellbeing and attendance
- Supporting line managers to establish effective methods of workforce performance monitoring and management responsibilities under both employment law and the organisation’s human resources procedures
- Assisting in identifying areas of high staff costs and inefficiency, working with the divisional management team to help identify and implement approaches to ensure the efficient use of resources
- Ensuring the provision of specialised advice and support on both the people aspects and the employment law aspects of any changes in order to minimise the risks to the short and longer term operational goals of the division
- Working with the Learning and Development Manager, support line managers to identify training needs and support delivery of programmes
The successful candidate should have:
- Prior public sector experience
- Sound understanding of employment law
- Up-to-date knowledge of HR best practice
- Experience of policy and process improvement
