HR Coordinator
Our client, a well-respected public sector organisation in Dorset, is looking for An HR Coordinator to come on board on a temporary basis to oversee the co-ordination of the HR Health and Wellbeing functions across the organisation.

Location: Dorset (based in Dorchester with flexibility to work from other sites across Dorset)
Hours: 37 hours per week
Length of Contract: 3m +
Hourly Rate: £17.00 via Umbrella Company
Day-to-Day Duties:
- To co-ordinate and oversee all Health and Wellbeing functions including the occupational health provision and effective case management across the organisation
- Provide innovative solutions and look at new ways of working to take the organisation forward, including links with recruitment, payroll and health & safety and the development of a self-service function for users to include online booking system
- Provide expert HR advice and support to line managers, business partners and all employees
- Investigate and resolve a wide range of HR issues in a fair and consistent manner
- Review and implement all health and wellbeing related documents and systems, including workflows, to ensure they are fit for purpose on a regular basis.
- Assist in the development of policies and procedures in reaction to legislative changes and national health and wellbeing trends
- Identify, investigate, and rectify issues. Liaise with employees and external stakeholders in resolving issues and finding solutions whist working to tight deadlines
- Proactively uses a ‘systems’ thinking approach to ensure the HR systems are accurately updated whilst providing and implementing recommendations for improvements and working practices (e.g. attendance management and health and wellbeing). Interrogate systems and provide reports and information relating to health and wellbeing activities
- Responsible for developing and maintaining the HR system in relation to sickness data to ensure it meets organisational needs
- To research, implement and maintain a comprehensive data and evaluation systems for the existing and new health and wellbeing functions including users of the occupational health service, physiotherapy and counselling and provide innovative solutions to identified areas of improvement
- Provide line management support and guidance to the X2 HR Advisors
- Participate in any HR related projects as required
Essential Skills:
- Have previously worked in a fast paced, reactive environment with a particular focus on health and wellbeing
- Have a post specific qualification at Level 3 or above or equivalent demonstrable working experience at this level
- Previous experience of providing advice and guidance on a range of wellbeing issues to support managers and staff.
- 4 GCSE passes - Grade A*-C / 9-4, including English and Mathematics, or equivalent Level 2 qualification, or higher-level relevant qualification (and able to provide evidence of this).
- Full current driving licence with access to own vehicle.
