An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Human Resources Manager to join a leading London based University. The post holder will deliver high-quality professional advice and guidance to senior managers to the professional services directorate of the University. Managing a team of HR Advisers, you will play an important role in the design and delivery of HR Policy.
Job responsibilities include:
- Lead on the resolution of complex Employee Relation issues, developing innovative and risk-based solutions
- Play a crucial role in changes HR Policy review and to ensure that changes to HR policy and procedures are communicated and embedded
- Assess, advise and lead on managing the people risks associated with proposed/planned changes arising from departmental restructures
- Play an appropriate role in the recruitment planning process, particularly for senior hires
- Ensure full compliance with employment law and the law relating to immigration and eligibility to work
- Assess and provide advice to line managers on development needs
- Manage a small team of HR Advisors guiding the team to deliver an excellent HR service
The successful candidate profile:
- CIPD qualified
- Experience working in a large complex organisation
- Experience with HR policy review
- Resolution of complex employee relations issue
- Professional credibility and ability to influence at a senior level
- Ability to prioritise competing demands, working to deadlines and developing initiatives to address workload management
