Permanent Income Accountant immediately required
Location: Bristol (Hybrid Remote)
Contract Type: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours (Mon-Fri)
Salary: £33,706 – £40,588 (DOE)

Responsibilities include:
- Support the timely and accurate production of financial and activity information which requires understanding, interpretation and analysis
- Investigate and resolve queries from external and internal finance and commissioning staff and pursue corrective action in consultation with the team
- To contribute to the Commissioner and Non Commissioner income inputs into the ledger
- Assist in the production of costing information for internal and external reporting
- Acting accordingly within set policies and procedures to ensure appropriate authorisation takes place prior to patient treatment where relevant
- To act as a point of contact for queries relating to services provided and invoices/reports produced
- Working on the above to agreed deadlines and timescales using own initiative and not requiring a high level of supervision
- Investigating and resolving data quality, and functionality issues that relate to external provider, and Business Intelligence
- Contributing towards or leading on Income related projects that improve the reporting process
- Enhancing working relationships between the Management Accounts team and Income team for the purpose of capturing, coding, and collecting Non Contracted Income
Essential Skills:
- AAT Qualified
- Experience of translating complex data from various systems into a clear and comprehensive financial model
Desirable Skills:
- ACA, ACCA, CIMA Part Qualified
