Commissioning Manager - Adults Social Care
Location: London (currently remote)
Length: 3 months initially
IR35 Status: Inside
A local authority client is looking to recruit a Commissioning Manager to support their Adults Social Care portfolio during a time of change in the team.
The key components:
- Support the Commissioning Leads with a variety of day to day commissioning activities such as market engagement, re-tendering and report writing
- Key areas of commissioning work could include bed-based care, homecare and supported living
- Conduct market engagement activities with providers and suppliers
- Draft business cases, tender documentation and governance reports
Experience required:
- Broad Adult Social Care commissioning experience ideally with bed-based care or homecare
- Good report writing skills and able to articulate ideas fully
- Demonstrable stakeholder and project management skills
- Able to effectively manage engagement with the market and providers
- Worked within local government recently
