Interim Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner

Based in London, hybrid working (1 day a week onsite)

Inside IR35, 3-4 days a week

Length: 12 months

We’re seeking an interim Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner to lead on the 0-19 commissioning portfolio and Health and Wellbeing Strategy across the Council and ICB.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Public Health Manager/Commissioner:

• Oversee the successful commissioning of the 0-19 Healthy Child Programme
• Report to the DPH and support on the Collaborative Agreement between the NHS and the Council
•  Contribute to the delivery of the Best Start in Life Strategy and the maternity and child health priorities in the draft Joint Health and Wellbeing Strategy
• Bring experience of commissioning 0-19 services and working across the Council and NHS
• Able to evidence enabling collaborative agreements for improving the health, wellbeing and life chances of children and young people
• Extensive experience Commissioning Children’s Health Services
• Degree in Public Health
• Excellent cross partnership and stakeholders working
