An excellent opportunity for a Locum Childcare Solicitor to join a Local Authority legal team has arisen in the South West.
Our client is offering a contract for an initial period of 3 months due to the workload with the possibility of further extension.
The role is offered on a fully remote working basis and although their preference is for full-time hours, they will consider part-time applicants so please do enquire if you require some flexibility with working hours.
Applications are welcome from Qualified Solicitors, Barristers or Legal Executives with a current Legal Practice Certificate.
Previous experience handling a childcare caseload for a local authority would be preferred.
The duties on a day-to-day basis are as follows:
- Managing a full caseload of Public Childcare matters
- Dealing with interim care orders and emergency protection orders under the Public Law Outline
- Limited advocacy
