Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer – East England – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella – Predominately Remote Working – 3 months – Part Time (25 hours per week)

Job Title: Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer

Location: East of England   

Rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella

Working Hours: Part Time, predominately remote working however office attendance on occasion would be preferred.

Venn Group’s specialised legal team are in collaboration with a Council based in East of England in the search for an experienced Locum Commercial Contracts Lawyer.  This is a part-time position where you will be working on a range of procurements and general contract matters.

Duties may include:

•             Advising and drafting on a wide range of contracts for services, supplies and works in context of ongoing procurement exercises

•             Providing one to one advice and assistance to members to the Procurement team

•             Advising on on major arbitration dispute and working with Counsel appointed to conduct proceedings on behalf of the Council

•             Reviewing and amending in-house standard commercial documents and CSOs

•             Drafting and advising on a wide range of documents arising in various procurement exercises including framework and call off Ts&Cs

This post is offered on a part-time (25 hours per week) on a predominately remote basis offering up to £60 per hour Umbrella.
