Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer – 3 months + - Predominantly Remote Working – Full time or Part time – Up to £55 per hour Umbrella –Midlands

Position: Locum Housing Litigation Lawyer

Organisation:  Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3 months + strong likelihood of extension agreed thereafter

Working Pattern: Full time orPart-time hours can be considered

Working Arrangement: Predominantly Remote Working, very occasional office attendance

Hourly Rate: Up to £55 per hour Umbrella

The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority and can demonstrate knowledge of Housing Litigation matters, including Disrepair, Anti-Social Behaviour, Tenancy and Possession matters.

Duties may include:

• Undertake all aspects of legal work relating to Housing Litigation including housing possessions, ASB, injunctions, and tenancy breaches
• Liaise and work collaboratively with other legal representatives as well as providing guidance to other staff
• To prepare and manage a varied caseload in relation to Housing Management and support case preparation for court
