Locum Housing Solicitor – West Midlands– Hybrid Working – 3 months initially– up to £45 per hour
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are pleased to be recruiting for a Locum Housing Solicitor to join an excellent Public Sector Organisation in the West Midlands. This assignment will be for an initial period of three months subject to possible extension thereafter.
Initially the role will require full office presence, which will then transcend into a hybrid working model for the foreseeable future. The Client are ideally seeking someone to take on the position on a full-time basis, however candidates with part-time availability possessing relevant experience will be considered.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience working within a Local Authority with a bias for social housing and disrepair as a Qualified Solicitor.
Duties may include:

Hold a full caseload of housing matters including issues such as Possession, Disrepair, Homelessness, Debt Recovery, Unlawful Evictions

Negotiating costs and instructing other lawyers on housing matters

Assisting with any other Housing Law matters when required
An attractive hourly rate of up to £45 per hour Umbrella is offered for this position dependant on experience. The Client is looking to start the role as soon as possible, so please let us know if you are interested.
