Locum Planning Lawyer

Planning Solicitor – Initial 3 Month Contract – Up to £60 per hour Umbrella
 
Venn Group’s specialist legal team are currently working with a highly reputable Local Authority in the Midlands, seeking an experienced Planning Solicitor to join their team for a 3-month contract with the possibility of extension.
 
This role offers a flexible working arrangement with the opportunity to work remotely and we are open to both full-time and part-time applications. Planning Committee attendance is essential and occurs once per month in the evening.
 
Role Overview

As a Planning Solicitor, your responsibilities will include:

• Managing a varied planning caseload
• Drafting and negotiating s106 agreements
• Providing expert planning advice
• Attending planning committees once a month (although can be flexible on this)

Key Information

• Contract Length: 3 months with the possibility of extension
• Rate: Up to £60 per hour (via an Umbrella company) dependent on experience
• Remote working
• Planning Committee attendance once per month
