Locum Property Solcitor

Locum Property Lawyer – South West – £50-55 per hour Umbrella – Remote Working
 

Venn Group’s specialist public sector legal team is assisting a South West Local Authority which is looking to appoint a Property Lawyer on a locum basis.

This is a full time position for an initial duration of 6 months, offering remote working. It would best suit a qualified Lawyer (Solicitor, Barrister or Fellow of CILEx) with strong Local Authority experience. Previous experience covering both Residential and Commercial Property Law is extremely beneficial.

Duties and responsibilities may include:

• Overseeing all aspects of commercial and residential property matters
• Managing and advising on the development, sale, lease, and other transactions involving public sector land holdings
• Handling matters involving Compulsory Purchase Orders
• Providing expert advice on all aspects of local authority land transactions
• Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and governance standards
• Offering strategic and practical advice to clients on property matters
• Developing effective solutions to complex property issues, ensuring client needs are met efficiently

An hourly umbrella rate of £50-55 is offered for this role.
